Penelope LaRock, M.A.-Speech Therapy, M.A-Early Childhood
Educational Author & Story Teller
Graduate of Ohio University, with a Masters of Arts in Speech Therapy as well as Lewis and Clark College with a Masters of Arts in Early Childhood. Penelope has 35 years of service at the Ross Board of Developmental Disabilities. She is the author of two children’s stories series. Tabby Tales and the Boo and Bibi Interactive Stories Series for use by classroom teachers, speech, occupational, and physical therapists. Penelope is the writer and producer of programs for the Ross County Ohio University Child Development Center. (Rabbit Radio, The Battle of the Pots and Pans Bando and The Frog City Blues Café. ) Guest lecturer in storytelling at Ohio University- Chillicothe and the Co-founder of the Southern Ohio Storytellers Guild. Although she does not have a herd of horses she does have a small herd of rescue Chihuahuas.
